The "Code Caché" Workshop (by La Fresque du Sexisme)

Unmasking Algorithmic Bias Together

How do human prejudices end up in our algorithms? Built as a core legacy of the DIVERSIFAIR project, Le Code Caché (The Hidden Code) is an interactive, collective workshop in French, created in partnership with La Fresque du Sexisme.

Co-designed by tech experts and social justice advocates, this hands-on session strips away the complex jargon of Artificial Intelligence. It allows any audience—from tech novices to data scientists—to understand how systemic discrimination (gender, age, origin, disability) intersects and amplifies within AI systems. Most importantly, it gives participants practical levers of action to design and use more ethical, responsible technology.

🤝 A Collaborative Co-Creation

This workshop is the result of a powerful collaboration that brought together tech expertise, pedagogy, and social justice advocacy. We are proud to honor the dedicated team behind its development:

Anabelle Pasillas – Founder of Egaliki, Gender Equality Consultant, Corporate Trainer, and Keynote Speaker

Roxane de Pelet – Founder of Projet Epicène (Culture Change & Transformation Consulting) & Co-founder of La Fresque du Sexisme

Gabriela Del Barco – DEI Consultant and Facilitator, and Responsible & Equitable AI Specialist

Steven Vethman – AI & Intersectionality researcher, representing the DIVERSIFAIR Consortium (Sciences Po)

Louise Aupetit – DIVERSIFAIR Project Manager, representing the DIVERSIFAIR Consortium (Women in AI)

Thanks to their combined vision, the project successfully transitioned from academic research into a highly impactful, permanent pedagogical tool.
